Our Show suite this time was in the sandy coast of Playa Blanca. After leaving the Zihuatanejo airport, just a few meters away, there is a road that leads to paradise. Playa Blanca is 10 miles of pristine white sand beaches, and until recently, it was completely undiscovered. It is still a hidden treasure. The area is immersed in nature. Open coconut groves, and blue lagoons create a stunning backdrop.
We gathered over drinks and food in charge of Mariana around the recently finished swimming pool at Mar de Coco. Guests, colleagues and friends toured the finished Villa, where we all witnessed the exquisiteness of it all; space, decoration, the colors! So in harmony with the view. The constant breeze, and the peacefulness of it all.
Zozaya Arquitectos designed Mar de Coco using curved walls and big open spaces to take advantage of prevailing winds that could generate cross ventilation. The organic lines are both aesthetically attractive and energy efficient, by naturally creating ventilation and bringing light into all of the spaces. By obtaining our construction materials locally, we don’t waste energy on transportation from remote locations. Palm, bamboo, river stone, and concrete are some of the materials that we use.
Come see how wonderful it is to have a room with a view.
